Job Summary

The School of Teacher Education at the University of Northern Colorado
invites applications for part-time supervisor positions as we build our
capacity to offer quality instruction to graduate students in our Master’s
degree with World Languages teacher licensure program. Part-time
supervisors hired will become vital members of the School’s nationally
recognized teacher preparation programs, committed to the preparation of
teachers teaching World Languages in K-12 setting. These positions are
filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs.

Minimum Qualifications

BA degree in relevant and appropriate area is required.

Preferred Qualifications

K-12 teaching experience in World Language (Mandarin Chinese strongly
desired) setting, and/or supervision experience, demonstrated capacity to
work collaboratively in school settings, knowledge of teaching best practices
in World Language education. We seek candidates who can provide
excellent classroom knowledge and a positive model of leadership in K-12
World Language Education.

Salary and Benefits

Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Benefits available include health, dental, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement programs. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed as 0.5 FTE or above are entitled to and eligible for Dependent Tuition Grants. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

Additional Requirements

Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.
